#482...2012 - 4's Christmas Art

The children sang so wonderfully at the Christmas Program on Saturday! We were so proud of them, and also know how much Jesus enjoyed their songs of love, praise, and thankfulness!

 May Christ bring you
PEACE, COMFORT, JOY, AND HOPE,
throughout the season and the new year!

(I am very sorry the 4's Christmas Artwork did not show at the program as I had planned,
but here it is. Enjoy!
Always double click the videos from YouTube and you will see it centered and full screen.)

#471...the minister's cat is a ....

We played a Victorian parlor game today....no I was not actually around at that time, but have seen it on various versions of the movie Scrooge. Here are the directions - All players sit in a circle, and the first player describes the minister's cat with an adjective beginning with the letter 'A' (for example, "The minister's cat is an adorable cat") Each player then does the same, using different adjectives starting with the same letter. Once everyone has done so, the first player describes the cat with an adjective beginning with the letter 'B'. This continues for each letter of the alphabet. We, of course, needed to rehearse it and talk about different words that could be used to describe the cat. A number of nouns crept into it, but that was just fine! We also each took one letter of the alphabet in order.  We had lots of fun!
